College:

Design: Thinking and Process - Class

  • Official creative introduction to the Savannah College of Art and Design. 

  • Working physically with 2D, 3D and 4D art forms to explore the creative ideation and creation process.

  • Explaining the purpose behind the artwork and the process in which is was created. 

Digital Communication - Class

  • Studying the digital communication strategies of professionals in film and television, gathering knowledge on structure and execution.

  • Using what I've learned to develop my own personal brand, including my logo, typography, color palette, and web page.

  • Continuing to work with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and becoming officially certified in Adobe Photoshop.

Speaking of Ideas - Class

  • Pushing myself farther out out of my comfort zone with regards to public speaking. 

  • Writing and performing several speeches and presentations, with situations catered to what we'll face in the creative industry.

  • Gaining to confidence to present myself and my work in front of a interviewer, or an auditorium of people.

High School:

LTTV: Digital Film and TV Production Class and Club (3 years)

  • Creative Services Director of our High School TV Program. 

  • Gaining industry-accurate experience. Directing, writing, producing, editing short films, music videos, cinematography reels. 

  • Attending live productions for our school’s shows, sports, creating high-quality content for social media.

  • Working at Gen Con 2024 and 2025, managing and coordinating live events at the Indianapolis Convention Center. 

  • Proficient in navigating DaVinci Resolve, teaching myself the basics of Blender.

WLTL Radio Management Class and Club (4 years)

  • Managing the school radio station as the Imaging Director

  • Producing professional-grade liners and promos to go on-air, beyond proficient in navigating Adobe Audition.

  • Meeting with industry professionals from WGN and SiriusXM to improve my digital imaging technique.

  • Attending Intercollegiate Broadcasting System conference in New York City, learning from radio industry representatives from all over.

  • Hosting my own on-air radio show once a week, four years in a row.

Digital Photography Class

  • Initially learning Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

  • Learning the settings of a standard DSLR camera.

  • Learning the bare-bones basics of taking appealing photos.

Animation Class

  • Initially learning Adobe Animate and working with Photoshop.

  • Making short 2D animation projects.

  • Learning the bare-bones basics of animation.

Visual Word Class

  • Analyzing classic films and identifying key concepts with regards to camera angles, color theory, and sound.

  • Learning about how technical aspects of filmmaking affect the storytelling aspects. 

  • Working on our own short film using the technical ideas that we learned about.

AP Language and Composition

  • Reading closely, analyzing, and interpreting a piece of writing.

  • Writing an evidence-based argument.

  • Scored 4 out of 5 on the AP Exam, class accepted for college credit.

English - Interpersonal Communication

  • Writing and performing multiple speeches.

  • Evaluating claims and stories.

  • Initially pushing myself out of my comfort zone for public speaking.

Film and Television Summer Class at DePaul University

  • Getting comfortable with college-level filmmaking

  • Writing, shooting and editing a short film in 5 days with other high school students.

  • Checking out the filmmaking facilities at DePaul University.

Working at Floodgates Audio Inc.

  • Working as a foley artist for short films.

  • Stitching together podcast episodes.

  • Working with Adobe Audition and Davinci Resolve.
